Welcome to RailCollector.com. I've started relaying track on my layout to add a passing siding it will allow me to have 3 trains on the layout at once.
Click on the New Zealand flag below the content bar to learn a bit about New Zealand.
I'm currenly working on an update for the site that should appear soon so watch this space.
I have been collecting vintage trains for about 10 years. I am always looking for trains that I don't have or examples that are in better condition than I already have.
If you have, or know someone that has, some vintage trains just sitting around in the attic or basement, I may be interested in purchasing them please email me.
If you're wanting to auction any toy trains please use the template for toy train auctions and the TCA grading standards this will help you have a god outcome to your auction and hopefully a higher final bid.
Also don't forget to have a look at my Cafepress store for some Railcollector.com goodies

(Joshua L.) Cowen had no patience with the notion that electric toy trains were for children and that
grown men had reason to be apologetic if they were caught playing with them. "It makes me mad,"
he fumed. "Why shouldn't a man run a train? Why, operating a good train layout is one of the
greatest challenges I know!" -- from All Aboard! by Ron Hollander
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes. - Billy Connolly
In view of the fact that God limited the intelligence of man, it seems unfair that he did not also limit his stupidity. - Konrad Adenauer
