MTH Rugged Rails 6-8-6 S2 steam turbine
My latest purchase it the MTH Rugged Rails 6-8-6 S2 steam turbine this engine hasn't had much running yet as I've only had it for a few days but so far so good this engine runs just as nicely as my 2-8-0 produces clouds of smoke if I want it to and has an excellent sound system all for under $200!
I really like this engine and so far have found no problems with it. The engine is impressive running at any speed and even looks great just sitting on the rails. I don't know how MTH make money on such a nice locomotive at such a low price.
I have to say that parking two MTH PS2.0 locomotives next to each other in neutral is great the cab talk sounds like they are talking to each other between the locomotives.
One thing you could improve on MTH if someone there is reading this please make a low cost engine with a operating front coupler so I can double head my trains! I won't even mind beta testing it for you!
