LAYOUTITUS ADDITOLOGY
This is a very common disease and if left untreated it could reach epidemic proportions. The disease is very contagious and can easily caught from other sufferers of Layoutitus Additology. The symptoms are fairly easy to recognize there is usually a high fever with lapses into a state of day dreaming and hallucinations. The patient projects himself into a dream world (which is of course in miniature and to a predetermined scale) and can be roused to fever pitch with fantastic thoughts of the unattainable ideal namely the perfect layout.
Unfortunately there can be quite serious side-effects namely:
1. Shortage of living space.
2. Possible domestic estrangement.
3. Chronic shortage of finance.
4. Bank balance wastage.
5. Complete stoppage of all social functions.
6. Insomnia with late night binges on eBay.
Cure is not easy. It is however possible if the patient is isolated from further contagion. The literary diet should be carefully controlled and over indulgence in modeling magazines, eBay and other related web sites (except this one) should be severely discouraged.
