Lone Star

Lone Star produced triple 0 scale trains between about 1957 and 1970.
There were 3 eras of triple 0
1) Lone Star Locos 1957 -?
2) Treble-0-Lectric 1960 - 1970
3) Treble-0-trains 1966 - 1970

Lone Star Locos were push along trains and were exactly half of OO scale they ran on 8.25mm gauge die cast track.

Treble-0-Lectric trains were introduced in 1960 and used the same basic models as the Lone Star Locos range except that the gauge was changed to standard N gauge (9mm) and Tri-ang type couplings were fitted. A set of new diesels were introduced for this range as the earlier models were too small to fit motors in.

Treble-O-Trains were a push along version of Treble-0-Lectric.
