Switch Building Manuals and Marx Fork Coupler magnetic uncoupling adapter.
These two items will be great for the Marx collector and operator. They will enable them to build Marx style switches to larger radii and use Lionel automatic uncouplers.
1) Switch Building Manuals
These switch-building manuals are self-published work that is great value for operators. All of the switches are made from existing track and common materials that can be found at hobby shops, hardware stores, lumber supply stores and electronic supply stores. The manuals come complete with a material list, recommended tools and full assembly instructions including a switch machine. The basic design is derived from the old style Marx metal switches. Most of the designs are configurations not manufactured but are for needed designs in layout design. These switches will pass all fat wheeled locomotives as well as all of the 3rd rail wide roller pickups and slide shoes.
2) Marx Fork Coupler magnetic uncoupling adapter.
This device allows the Lionel operator to use their magnetic uncouplers to operate Marx fork couplers. The adapter just clips into place and your ready to go. There is no modification to the rolling stock to be converted needed, so the value of the item will not decrease. This is great as Marx collectors can now easily purchase uncouplers and use them for their Marx. At only $2.50 a pair they are also great value.
